Description
In 2022, the Excellence Class was launched at the International Summer Academy. It is not possible to apply for this class, which is reserved for the most talented organists.
In 2024, a longlist was drawn up with the names of participants who had been independently identified as highly talented by at least two teachers during that year’s Summer Academy. The participants in the Excellence Class 2026 were selected from this longlist. They will receive two weeks of high-level instruction from the greatest teachers of our time and will conclude with a concert of their own in the Grote of St.-Bavokerk on Friday evening, 30 July 2026.
During the Summer Academy of 2026, the participants in the Excellence Class in 2028 will be selected according to the same procedure.
