About the festival

The International Organ Festival Haarlem, held in 1951, is the oldest and most famous organ festival in the world. This biennial festival attracts visitors from around the globe. International organists come to participate in the competition or to attend concerts and masterclasses. The festival is known for its pioneering role in organ music and continually explores the broadest musical possibilities with the organ.
